Lucy’s Lodge was built in memory of Lucy Ireland, mother of the founder, Amy Easley. Lucy unexpectedly passed in April of 2011. Lucy had a passion for travel, art, and family all of which are reflected in the layout and design of the Lodge. Lucy’s Lodge sits atop a hill overlooking our 16-acre lake. The Lodge has a wide-open floor plan centered on the main dining and living areas flanked on two sides by 3 bed/bath combinations. Total accommodation is 6 couples, each in their own room (12 people). Each bedroom has its own bathroom, TV, and linen sets. The kitchen is a galley-style setup and comes fully equipped with all the necessities, including utensils, and cookware. Also provided are linens, a gas grill, grilling equipment, and an available laundry room. To complete the ambiance there is a wrap-around porch with rocking chairs, several swings in the trees, and swings along the bank of the lake near the pier.

“Firewood is provided for all buildings.”

Set on the picturesque 16-acre lake, this remote cabin is a favorite retreat.  Deer Run can accommodate up to 8 people comfortably on the bunk beds, queen bed, and pull-out couch.  The living room has an Austin-stone fireplace and the kitchen is fully equipped.  There is a front and back porch for morning coffee and wildlife viewing along with some good fishing. When you choose to stay with us, you become part of our team by making it possible for us to host and serve missionaries for free.

Are you a missionary needing a stopping place between trips or home on furlough?  We would love to host you for free, as a way to say “Thank you for your work”.  Or maybe you know of a missionary visiting Stateside.  We would love a chance to bless them with a free vacation and the opportunity to pour some love and encouragement into them!  Free rentals are Monday thru Thursday.  Longer accommodations can be arranged based on availability, but we do ask for payment on weekend dates.

“Firewood is provided for all buildings.”

This is as simple and as fun, as it gets! The Bunkhouse is divided into 2 quarters.  One has 6 bunk beds and the other has 1 queen bed and 4 bunk beds- holding a total of 22 people. Each side also has its own set of 4 sinks, 2 showers, and 2 toilets in the bathroom. The bathrooms are handicap accessible. The kitchen is outside under the covered porch surrounded by picnic tables and swings. This is a great place for overflow from larger stays. This building is located at the front of the property and not at the lake with Lucy’s Lodge or Deer Run Cabin.

Getting three teenagers (and parents) to “unplug” is easy when there’s so much to do, & I think we did it all!”
